    This is my new favorite local restaurant. The staff is so friendly and sweet plus the food is flavorful and delicious. I appreciate the presentation and portions. I called last minute on Valentines Day and they accommodated us very well. I recommend everything. Salud~

    LaVier is one of my favorite eating establishments in San Rafael. The quality and flavor of the food are top notch. The owner is also the chef and it's readily apparent that he cares. This place is usually packed. If you plan on eating here during prime dining hours be sure to make reservations ahead of time.

    Fantastic food. Quaint atmosphere--lots of plants, portraits, eclectic furniture, very friendly staff. You should make a reservation - seating is limited. The curry is spicy and delicious. The risotto is not creamy like Italian risotto, more like this Mexican rice. Salmon was grilled perfectly. Excellent plantains, both Maduros and tostones are fantastic and fresh. Biztec was very good, surprisingly filling.
